1JZGTE
I would like to get an indication of what these are worth. The wheels are WORK Eurolines. http://www.magandturbo.com/pages/imagelibrary/W_work_EurolineDZ_Silver.jpg Fronts are 8" x 18", ET50, perfect for a Supra. Tyres: Falken FK452 with 6mm tread, 245s. Rears are 9" x 18" ET50 too, with Falken FK452 tyres and 6mm tread. Rear tyres width = 265s. I have two options. 1. I sell the wheels as they are. There is NO kerbing as it has all been sanded down using 240 / 400 / 600 wet and dry by me, but what that has done is made the reflective, blingy dish, look all dull and matt. It will need 1000, 1500, 2000 grit and then Autosol to bring it back to its shiny finish. The centres have lacquer peeling, so could either be powdercoated or sanded wet and dry like the lip to a shine. What are they worth in this condition ie. flat and dull looking, but no kerbing? 2. I restore them to their former glory so they look mint. What are they worth at this point? The 4 alloys will come with the 4 evenly warn Falken 452 tyres. JamieP
I would like to get an indication of what these are worth. IMO they are not the best looking wheels (remind me of merc wheels) and the offsets are a bit lame for aftermarket wheels, they will sit inside the arch a fair amount, in there current condition a couple of hundred maybe. little num
scrap them, think alloy is about £1600 a ton so you will get £32 for them.
Jamesy
(remind me of merc wheels) . exactly what i thought when i saw them, MERC! you never know they might look FLAIR on a supra, but im not sure
Dave_SZ-R
Ive actually been looking for this style of wheel for a while. I personally think the big, fat five-spoke deep dish style would look good on a grey Supra. If you were closer to me Id make you an offer! To each their own though, dont imagine this style is gonna be all that popular on here...
merckx
Unfortunately with you being honest and describing them as "flat and dull looking, but no kerbing" will reduce their appeal I'm afraid. I would take some decent pics of each wheel and ask for offers to made if anyone is interested, if you don't get what you want then try on another forum that have cars that these will fit. If that doesn't work then try ebay.
1JZGTE
Thanks gents Hmmm....I might split the rims and tyres then 2 x 265 18s and 2 x 245 18s. I will get some pics up after a half-refurb. They aren't bad bad by any means, I am just being honest about their description as they stand now. Also, I thought the fact that they are ET50 which is what Supras have as standard, this would be a good thing from the point of view of geometry and handling etc.? 1JZGTE
I don't have any Supra pics, how about pics of the wheels on some random cars I found on the interwebz? These ones have had the centres painted / powder coated in gloss black: http://carview-img02.bmcdn.jp/minkara/parts/000/002/189/951/2189951/p1.jpg I'm sure if you wanted it, Ibrar (Speedwells) could turn them into this: From this... http://www.sad-style.com/e-parts/item_img/tw/TW02540_1.jpg It won't be that expensive as he will only need to powdercoat the centres, the dishes will be restored by me Edited September 4, 2009 by 1JZGTE (see edit history)
