JustGav
Not my cuppa but everyone to their own... I'm not a porker fan either but there is some charm to that... the other half would probably need a new pair of knickers if I showed her that pic. IF you meant "showed" her that pic do you mean because she is a fan of ZE 911 or she would think your considering coughing up lots of muuulah on it? Yup, was typing an email at the same time..... She likes porkers in general and aspires to getting one, my bank balance definitely won't stretch to one though. AdzC
I think Porsche have got the styling spot on with the current 997. The retro styling hues definitely work IMO.
matt k
That's lovely, except the whale tail.... Are you kidding, it harks back to the 911 RS, i trhink it looks mint!
Havard
I'm not a porker fan either but there is some charm to that... Agreed..!! I am a massive Porker fan and the 996 and 997 are wonderful looking cars. I just don't like the older models and therefore "retro" stuff is a wee bit wasted on me. Techart kitted 911's are the bollocks!! H.
Gaz6002
The thing to talk about in this thread is value. The Sport Classic will cost £137k, which is significantly more than a 911 Turbo and is knocking on the GT2's door. Performance stats are quite a lot less impressive than other Porkers. Only 250 will be made though, so I imagine the second hand price will overtake the new price pretty much instantly. Aesthetically I have to agree, I love the styling hints back to the 1973 Carrera RS etc but I would only own one if someone gave it to me. This is the Porsche for the Porsche fan who has everything.
