mathew
now i dont know about you guys but il happily park further away from the shop if it means having a good few empty spaces around me rather than risk any dings from other drivers parking so close. with this in mind what i saw earlier at morrisons was just baffling. as i was looking for a pound coin for the trolley i noticed a 'normal' looking chap pull up in a golf and try for a good 5 mins to squeeze into the smallest of spaces. both cars either side had parked pretty close to the inside space lines which made a smallish space even smaller but this guy was determined to get in it. he eventually managed to get into the space but then followed it up with the most awkward looking exit from a car i have ever seen. to say he had little room to move is an understatement but he managed, somehow, to get out and off he went into the store. what amazed me was that the other side of one of the adjacent parked cars was a row of 6 empty spaces!!!! why on earth didnt he just park in one of those!?!?! and to top it all off when i left the store and headed towards my car i noticed that the car which he had parked his next too had its owner, quite a fat fella, effing and jeffing that some 'stupid tw4t' had parked right next to him and he couldnt even fit between the 2 cars to get to his drivers door:d

Abz
Some people just have no common sense! My missus has had training in "Advanced Supra Market Parking" Also referred to as ASMP. She now always looks for a corner to park in so then you can get the car as close to the Kerb! I hate Supermarket car parks!
liam1
this has always amazed me too i always park well away from other cars when ever possible in car parks, i have parked the car many times in my local morrisons well away from other cars with loads of spaces around me and on many occasions when getting out i have found people parking right next to me making it difficult to get out of the car i can only think lots of people use the other car as a guide to park?. DodgyRog
I always park in the middle of 2 spaces at Tesco or Sainsbury's, I have had a couple of people comment. I always say that due to the amount of inconsiderate people banging there door into the side of my car, I have decided to be the inconsiderate one , as it saves me money, hassle and punching somebody in the mouth. They usually don't say much else then;)
AdzC
I park in parent and child bays. I haven't got any children but the spaces are nice and wide.

Guigsy
I park as close to the door i can get without useing disabled or mother and baby. I wont try and squeze into a tiny space though. Never had the car dinged. I have however had both front and back bumpers scraped a little with people trying to parralel park on my road outside my house. JustGav
Sorry, but those using disabled and mother+child parking spots shouldn't be proud of themselves. They should be used by those that REQUIRE them, and NO I've not used them myself!

devan
I just stick my Supra as close to the door as i can get it too, obviously not in any reserved spots for disabled etc, but touch wood up to now ive had no dents or scrapes, and as somebody told me the other week, its a white car, so if it gets scraped then just get the tip-ex out lol. (i think thats how you spell tip-ex/tipex/tippex/tip-pex. How do you spell tippex????

Could also use Cif Cream as an alternative to polish too

Yup same here, and she looks for them whenever im driving As for finding spaces away from the clutter near the entrance, i do this but invariably you start off the lemming syndrome, so when you return there are a line of cars nest to you.
