What cage is that as it looks the same as mine

I've no idea Wayne. It had a little map sticker on but no brand as such that I could see. I got it from Jurgen. It was in a car he bought in for a customer and the customer didn't want the cage.

Got the feet welded back on the main cage frame this morning. The 3 smaller parts are painted white and are drying as I'm typing this. I'll get them covered in reducilous amounts of laquer to keep the paint nice and shiney.

That should be all finished today and hopefully will get the main frame primed.

i wish this bloody snow would stop so i can fit the rollcage. Its all nicely painted ready to go in but seems the cars outside then things are looking bleek to get it fitted anytime soon until the 6 inches of snow on the cars melts.

Started with a few mods whilst the engine was apart.

ive cut off the water feeds from the top water neck and the rear part of the water pump. I had them welded up at work. Im wanting to reduce the waterways that arnt needed so I havnt got water pipes all over the place whic i dont need. Iv also took the water feed for the stock oil cooler out of the block, chopped the end off it and welded it up to remove this too. I will be using an oil pick up from an N/A which has no stock oil cooler as im using an external oil cooler.

So onto the cage. I started this 1st thing sat morning expecting only a few hours and done. How wrong I was. It took me around 8hrs from start to finish. having to cut out the panels a little more than they were. Me being me wasnt happy with the holes cut in th panels. i thought the finish was a little to rough and wanted it more factory fit. I added some black leather trim around the holes to finish them off nicely.

Ill get some better pics up of the cage fitted when it stops bloody snowing lol. Ive also fitted all the interior again so everything looks nice and tidy in there again.

the Fuel return pipe had been done for the FPR also fitted some more chrome stuff. Again more pics to come when it stops snowing.

Have you not chosen to run a water-cooled turbo?
