Sandy-m2
Been watching this for a while now dude, great build. quick question. "All thats left to get for the nitrous setup is 2 Greddy Remote switches and 2 greddy 12v harnesses so I can use them as triggers. Im going to use these so I can attach them to the steering wheel as there infrared." How does that work?
nevins
Now that looks brilliant mate, you were not kidding about the jet fighter look switches. The ocd screws cracked me up when I read about it lol. So whats next have you fully wired up the fuse box in the glove box now.

The switches in the centre console arm the system and the greddy buttons when depressed open the solnoid. I'm going to use those cos I can mount them on the steering wheel without wires. Now that looks brilliant mate, you were not kidding about the jet fighter look switches. The ocd screws cracked me up when I read about it lol. So whats next have you fully wired up the fuse box in the glove box now. Yep the fusebox is all wired up (I hope). I'm going to underseal the car today if I can get my lazy arse off the sofa. I also want to remove the rear wiper and washer jet. Apart from that, I'm playing a waiting game. Waiting for some chrome stuff from ray Engine n 6 speed conversion should arrive 24th jan Rollcage should arrive 27th jan TRD kit, carbon bonnet and some engine parts mid Feb. So there's not a great deal I can do really. I think I'll strip the back seats and panels out ready for the cage and look at how I'm gona do the sub box. deathmonkey
I'm playing a waiting game. Everytime I read that I just think of Peter Griffin in Family Guy 'and now I play the waiting game' Sorry, bit OT there! Shame I don't live 'oop North', would've loved to see some of this come together. And I might've been able to get you some genuine fighter jet switches as well - but those do look good. and OCD on the screws...

hodge
after a long and hard delideration with myself I've decided to leave the tailgate as if for the time being. I think the carbon will look nice but I'm just concerned about cabin noise etc. After standing looking at the back of my supra as it stuck out the garage I decided against it. Tee from China
maybe a bit anal but with your attention to detail are you going to do something about the over spray on the wiring and plug to the reservoir cap now the servo is painted and the master cylinder polished as to my mind looks slightly naff considering your fastidious attention up to now

hodge
It's now all done. I thought someone would mention it. Spent the full day working n the freezing cold yesterday with not alot to show for it really. I sorted the overspray out, removed the rear wiper, refitted the bonnet catches and undersealed most of the car well until I ran out of underseal LOL. Unfortunatly I've now got man flue due to the cold so will be in bed all day cos I'm poorly bad. It had to happen sooner or later though, given the hours I've spent in the freezing cold since November.

Kev_A
With the underseal does than come in a tin? And is it then painted on with a brush? I'm not sure if mine has been done or not. I love the master cylinder, I'd love to get one done like that, great touch!
hodge
cant be asked to read back ha ha is someone rebuilding your engine john? No mate I've got an engine and 6 speed conversion coming over from japan via Jurgen. Once arrived I'm gona rebuild the engine myself before putting it in. With the underseal does than come in a tin? And is it then painted on with a brush? I'm not sure if mine has been done or not. I love the master cylinder, I'd love to get one done like that, great touch! Yep you just paint it on with a brush. You can buy it in spray tins also.

hodge
I've been looking at Pauls bullseye turbo, fitted to the car and seems I'm going for a slightly bigger turbo I don't think my TRD strut brace is gona fit. I'm gutted cos I've always wanted 1 of of those. And judging by the position of the turbo I don't think I can make it fit either. I know I'll make my money back if I sell it but I really wanted it on the car. Very disopointed.
