Brazil
Have you thought about making a carbon fibre cover for the fuse box in the glove box? Now that your switches are there and you will be opening it more often it will be nice to have it covered.

The relays are VERY close to the dash when you close the box, so unfortunately it has to stay how it is.

Noz
Liking what you've done with the glove box. Think that looks awesome. I bet it wasn't a five minute job. How do you find the co2 cooler? Do you really see a difference?
walbertonio
Amazing what you've managed to do in your garage. Rather neatly summed up with that mental image of you using all appendages to put the gearbox back on solo, haha. How many man hours do you reckon this has stood you so far? How do you find the co2 cooler? Do you really see a difference? The fusebox relocation took me about 3 full day iirc. I've never used the IC spray as yet. When it's dyno'd again I'm going to get Ryan to get the Syvecs to control it, instead of having it on a button. Amazing what you've managed to do in your garage. Actually that's my only regret with the build was I didn't add up the man hours as I worked on it. It has to have ran into 1000s easily.

hodge
Just had a good catch up on the thread John, looks great! It will soon be time to... Lol I love that film My flight is at 8pm tonight so should be hone by mid-day Friday. I'm really looking forward to getting stuck into the car when I get back. I havnt been idle while I'm away though. I've ordered a few bits and bobs for the car. I've just ordered some -24AN alloy weld on fittings. I'm going to do a braided stainless upper water pipe like the 1 Steve.M has on his car. I've bought a top water elbow from Carbon-Bullet to chop up make a custom one to clear my turbo. And finally I've also bought a Nardi steering wheel from Dude. It has 4 buttons fitted so will make life easier for the launch control, etc etc. Jamie has given me a charge pipe to fit the bottom of my turbo to IC pipe. I'll get that fitted tomorrow hopefully when I get home.

hodge
When do you think it will be finished bud ? I'm hoping to have it running by the end of feb and mapped by April time I hope. If it takes longer then it takes longer though, I'm in no hurry. I want to pull my engine loom apart again when I get home as I want to integrate all my Syvecs sensors into the main loom instead of having them all seperate so it's a complete custom plug and play loom the same as what I made for Ibrar's car. hodge
Just to add, I've just done a deal with Steve.M on his injectors too. I'm currently running ID1000's. I'm doing a swap for Steve's ID2200's. I was starting to think my injectors would run out of steam before my turbo did.
hodge
Got the charge pipe fitted today when I got home. I did plan to do a few other bits and bobs but, due to the crazy climate difference and a little jet lag I sacked it off, curled up on the sofa and went for a sleep But tomorrow is another day.
