hows the work going John? cant wait to see it.

How's it coming along mr hodge ;)

I'm off to the bodyshop for a peak after work tonight funny enough. I called over Tuesday but they had shut up shop by the time I got there. Hopefully all being well the car should be in primer.

I'm banking on getting her back sometime next week I hope.

I like the stock electric Ariel bud. Once it's back from paint there will be some very very long shifts put in to get her back together that's for sure.

In my opinion the stock eletric ariel is very out dated..! A stubby ariel would look 10x better..!

looking forwards to seeing you car out of the bodyshop..! :-)

Well the car isn't in primer just yet. The doors, wings and roof are though but need flatting back.

TRD spoiler ends have had the primer removed to be redone as have the timing covers.

The rear bumper is now all sorted as it was slightly out on the passenger side under the light.

Front and rear screen are out and tailgate is off.

Hes told me I should have the car back all done by next weekend all being well.

I've taken a few pics but nothing special. I'll upload them later on.

No mate. The paint that was on them was shite, especially the front cover. He started to flatten it down to paint it again and theres was so much paint in the recesses the water got under the paint and lifted it all straight off.

Im in no hurry really. Ive taken the week off work before Suprapod to see if I can get her ready and put some miles on so I know its all good to drive down. I really dont want her to miss another 1.

Bit of an update on this,

The doors, wings roof, mirrors engine covers and boot lid are all painted now and look the nuts. The car will be painted and finished off by Friday and it's getting delivered back to mine on sat afternoon for rebuild.

This is the only reason why i signed back here so i could see this baby finished!!!

Won't be too long now Wayne. The bodywork has taken longer than expected cos Everytime I call over the bodyshop I give him something else to do on the car.

Fingers crossed all will be finished for Saturday.

There's no pics at present mate. I've seen the doors and wings etc already painted and there far from a dull colour. Once they've been machine polished on the car it's going to look awesome.

I am pretty excited that's for certain but I've got a massive push if I'm going to get it ready for Suprapod.

Dull was probably the wrong word but i read some where on supraforums think it was on a for sale thread saying that they didnt use laquer or much of it when they left the factory (white only) if this is the case the colour will look much better repainted using proper amounts of laquer etc

Some more body shop pics.

Things are looking good for getting the car back Saturday.

The whole car is in primer, and flattened back. It's going into paint tonight.

going to look the nuts john.

Honestly the pics don't do this justice. Everything is perfectly smooth and all lines are good too. Really can't wait to get it all back together. I can see come late nights over the weekend.
