hodge
Hope it all goes well dude. You deserve it with what you have put into it. Thanks Ricky. I've had the car running with the new injectors in and it sounds loads better than before. I've played with the old map and got it ticking over nice but that's about my limits really. I'm sure it won't take Ryan long to get it spot on.

hodge
Update time. Ryan remoted into the Syvecs on Friday and we got the car running spot on. It revs really well and sound mean as hell lol. Than Saturday I started the stripdown for the bodyshop on Monday. Here's a few pics of how it all went. I've tidied up the total hash of wires under the passanger carpet. Back all stripped down. Quick engine shot in the sun with the bonnet off. Front bumper stripped Test fitted how I'm having the brake lines. Engine stripped. What I've taken off, well some of it lol, Left the oil and PAS coolers in place. My specially designed coolant collection chamber (LMAO) to stop the rest of the engines coolant spilling out on the bodyshop floor. Ready for towing. 1 damn clean bodyshop. And this is how I left her on Monday. Ill call over on Friday to see how there getting on and take some pics. hodge
I've been over to the bodyshop this morning and they've started peeping the engine bay. The paint in there was a lot worse than expected so it's all got to be rubbed, down all the flaking paint removed and 2 pack primed before paint. They've started welding up and filling unwanted holes too. There's 2 of them on the car, 1 on the bodywork and the other on the bay. I've decided to remove the breather pipes from the inner wing. I know it was totally different but if the pipes are removed it's going to free up that top right corner totally and leave it bare. So the plate with the fitting had been removed and I'm getting him to weld the hole back up. Um going to run the pipes over the back of the engine and over the gearbox now. By all accounts he said my bodywork on the arches and skirts was pretty good so doesn't need that much sorting but my priming was terrible lol. But I had a go and can only get better I suppose. Here's a few pics of what's gone on, although there's not much to see really. And finally a couple of pics of other projects he's got in. A classic Ferarri he's restoring and I think the other is a really old bentley. The door sills are made from wood. Don't know how that works bur apparently that's how cars used to be made. Rob_Mitchell
Not much filler work in the rear quatre which is a good sign of your attempt at doing it yourself, they will prob use a decent high build primer anyway. looking good though john, really looking forward to the engine bay finished pics. Cheers Rob. It did take me 3 weeks to do 1 side though lol. Yeah the whole car is getting done in 2 pack primer I think he said. I'll probs call over mid next week for another update.
