Remember John. If I hadn't cleaned that front wheel I doubt you would have won "Best Toyota".! It's the small details that count. Just glad that they didn't judge you on the tent.:sly:

I also don't know how I didn't spot you and Tom tearing up the A14 on the way home.:D

Mate it was greatly appreciated. You did a great job. Would have all went sown hill if you all didn't muck in.

What was wrong with my tent ????:p

N/As don't tear up anything, but I'm supprised you didn't hear mine lol.

Nothing a double airbed can't sort out.

I maybe wasn't concentrating but as you got near my blindspot I heard this almighty roar and a white flash. Stunning car and the pride of the stand at JAE.

I wouldn't say the pride of the stand. There was some awesome cars on that stand. I thought Adds White supra was styled perfectly and Darrens car was stunning too. But to be honest I could go on and on.

well i've had an amazing weekend.

Firstly banging out a massive 914 bhp out on the dyno, i also took best toyota at jae on the saturday.

On the way home i had a little play in the car and it's totally savage. Upto about 0.5 bar creeps up but after that it comes in very hard indeed. I get a 500hp power hike between 4000 and 5500 rpm. I can't get enough of it.

Can i just take the opportunity to give a big thank you to all who were involved in the build from start to finish, i couldn't have done it without the support and knowledge of the club. So again thank you all very much.

Most of all though i have to thank ross (bossco) for the hours and hours of help most of them in arctic conditions. Thanks mate.

you didnt tell me you won !

first win for the girl! great news john, car is a stunner.

Cheers Rob. I lost out on car of show to a 300zx. Sure this guy just drives it to shows n takes it home n locks it away til the next one. He had it's own tent at JAE for gods sake, came out for the show n shine then went back in the tent again.

I'm just not prepared to go to that extreme. After the Dyno all I want to do is drive it, and drive it hard. The power and the rush when it comes onto boost is totally addictive.

I've also got that little demon On my shoulder telling me I'm only about 86hp away from 1000BHP. If I stick another fuel pump and acouple of other little mods in how much more boost will I need to hit the golden number, and will my engine explode.

red or blue 300zx?

i know either one very well, one is a man called jason who owns the blue beast with airbrushed bonnet... the red one is owned by the owner of the Z-centre and the engine bay is very nice plus he chromes aluminium.

if its one of them 2 they are very hard to beat at shows but as you said they hardly use them, still nice rides though.

1000bhp your crazy mate but credit to you and the hard work put into it

Think it was the blue 1 Rob. The guy even had a T-Shirt with Beast 300zx on lol. I was a stunning car in all fairness but looks like it's never driven. Either way he'll be winning feck all when you roll your bad boy out, that's for certain.

yeah jason, wins everything. not my cup of tea if im honest but definately draws the people in. mate even getting a runners up to that is a superb start for you and the car... its not about winning everytime, its about having a bit of fun and showing off the work put into making it look what it is. awards just help to take the stress out what you have spent ha ha.

still cant believe the power you got, good stuff.

I'm still in shock myself to be fair. I can't stop watching the Dyno video lol.

I'm going to get the simmer out of the car then a few extra mods I think.

Billet tensioner bracket,

Duel valve spring and titanium retainers,

Another 044 pump,

Greddy cam pulleys,

New timing belt,

Maybe a new set of bigger cams,

Back to the Dyno for some more 2BarTuning action.
