Can I be a bit nit-picky? After all the effort you've gone to with the engine bay, it'd be a shame not to carry some of the white through to the ice install. I'd do the sub enclosures in fibreglass painted white with the strip running through the middle in black vinyl/leather.

I wanted it carpeted for the simple fact the car has a black carpet and black boot carpet. So I wanted to have it all flowing through the car. im not into all that painted install stuff I think it looks a little to chav if im totally honest.

Haven't checked in a good while, and I am certainly impressed with your progress.

The car looks simply superb, can't wait to see this in real life.

Absolutely loving the TRD Kit, and I think that the boxs are simply the biggests card board boxes I have ever seen.

Great work....... you should be very very pleased.

PS. Those wheels are amazing too, do they have a Stainless Dish/ Lip?

A bit of an update folks.

I spend the day up Jurgens (JM-Imports) today doing a bit of spanner work and we came to an arangement for this clutch.

the TRD clutch that came 6 speed conversion wasnt upto the job.

We thought it was a twin plate and it turns out to be a single plate so recon id tear it apart after the first boost run.

Anyways im now the proud owner of a Ogura triple plate racing clutch rated at over 1000hp:d

I recon it should do the trick once this big turbo ive ordered starts whisting.

Dont know if u mentioned it previous but are you going with a carbon aerotop?

not sure yet mate. It's not high on my list. Depends on costing/funding etc.

Wow looking good John, there's a few hours work gone into this project!

cheers Kevin. Aye I wouldn't like to add up all the hours labour at the going rate and have to pay it.

Time for the next installment.I picked up the cage from the powdercoaters.

I started stripping the ICE install out about 5 p.m and finished around 9.30. I was bloody freezing and only had an inspection lamp to guide the way. But to be fair ive it was well worth it all.

Im very pleased with everything. Its all fitted really well, the powdercoat is spot on and the gaps between the cage, bottle and boxes are very minimal.
