jackso11
I want one of these....anybody else want one? When fitting them do they come in the colour of your car or does it need spraying with the bonnet again?
Nic
When fitting them do they come in the colour of your car or does it need spraying with the bonnet again? They are not available colour coded, they come finished in grey primer.
jackso11
oh. How do they stick on? and where does the hose/snorkle part attach to under the bonnet? Edited April 19, 2010 by jackso11 (see edit history)

When fitting them do they come in the colour of your car or does it need spraying with the bonnet again? I want one!!!! Just curious if it is necessary to cut bonnet and fit ducting as my car is an N/A not TT.Is there any benefit to me having the ducting as if not i am really interested in just having the look?? jackso11
wow, they look easy to fit! So if I get one of these in standard toyota black, I should be able to fit it myself in a weekend easy..... Anybody agree with this, to boost my confidence in the job?
Steve
They are easy to fit. I fitted one on my car last weekend Just make sure if you use that template from mkiv.com that you measure the distance between the holes and make sure it is correct. I had to re-size it as it didnt print correctly.

Steve
Just buy one from Toyota and get a local body shop to spray it in 202 (black)

Steve
I bought the scoop, guide and fittings (didnt get the metal guide for under the bonnet) for £150 inc VAT from my local Toyota. Then found a body shop to spray it for cash
