hey thats cool, im still learning, the documents have the date of registration in uk as the same date of original registration.

I certainly dont proffess to knowing much about the differences, that was all i went by. I would definately feel much more confident with it once its been looked over properly, as mentioned, im a bit pants with mechanical side of things. Any info is always welcome!

Oh, and il definately be at the chippenham meet. I live only a couple of miutes away

In regards to the NP surround, that was already fixed, iv only owned the car since thursday:) feels a pretty good price @ 4.5k, just makes me edgey not having had it looked at properly.

Strange that it's got one j-spec rear light and one UK. I thought it was a fog light mod but you've got a hanging down fog light anyway so it can't be that. :conf:

i actually only noticed from the picture i took, lol i thought that was a bit odd, lol

so paranoid with this car its silly! so concerned of damaging the bugger in someway, lol

My god! how many are in wiltshire!! particularly around the 'nam area.. amazing! such a memorable moment to pass another... iv not done it yet either!! shoking now i know how many of you are around here, hehe

Im already enjoying the forum, i was part of the MR2OC nad found them most helpful, but tbh, i think it slightly pales compared to the friendly community here.. it certainly didnt take long to get to a second page on this thread with the nice comments..

I hope i can become a helpful member too at somepoint! hehe

Welcome mate, hope to see you at the Chippers meet in October... unlike Tannhauser who never turns up to any meets :p :D

I'm sure a few of us can give the car a good once over and see what's what :)

think it would be wise, im concerned the 1st turbo is kicking in too early.. 2k revs seems to be the point where it starts to whistle, though the turbo seems to kick in stilla t around 3-3.5k. ah well will get it cxhecked out on my day off.. any decent supra mechanics near here?

i was always directed to carcare in melksham for my mr2, how are they with supras?

cheers!

Hi there,

can't see pics as I'm at work (will have to wait till the weekend), but as you can see there's plenty of folks round this way :)

The first turbo should start whistling at 2000 rpm and quickly hit full boost and then second turbo should kick in at about 3800. You may experience a slight drop off at 3600 when the car bleeds some air from T1 to pre-spool T2 prior to bringing it online

I'd get some knowledgeable members to look at it at the next Chippenham meet (esp Homer) before taking it to a garage
