EdMorris
It is with great reluctance that I put up for sale my beloved GSXR 600. I bought this new back in 2002 (K1 model though), and its been a joy to own ever since. I'm not riding it much at the moment and have only covered a couple of hundred miles in the last 2 years! In order to finance my ever growing supra project I have to bite the bullet and let her go Standard spec save for a double bubble screen. New recent battery. Datatool system 3 alarm. Alphadot tagged. Never dropped at speed, although there are a couple of marks where the stand was on uneven ground and she fell over. Also, some uninsured london mini scab reversed into me while I was parking up one day (only had her for 2 months!), and cracked the fairing. It was a VERY slow accident and just a minor crack (about 2cm long), but I had it properly repaired and sprayed, good as new. You'd never know but I'm just being totally honest. A touch over 12,000 miles on the clock. Some non stainless parts are showing signs of age, but really she is in great condition due to being cared for and always in the garage. Regularly serviced with a fully stamped book at the same place I bought her from - George Whites in Slough. I'm after £2500, which I think is fair considering the miles and age. It's due an MOT which I'm doing today and it has tax until 31/03/10. I'll get more pics up when I get back from the test centre and she's had a good clean. Thanks, Ed
EdMorris
Right, spent a few hours sorting this out. Sailed through MOT so now has 12 months on it, plus 7 months left on the tax disc. Its been a year almost to the day since the last service but I've only covered 30 miles (including todays jaunt to the test centre), in that time. Good tread on both tyres, and no issues with the engine, still pulls like she always has. In fact I almost changed my mind (again), about selling after going out earlier. Forgot how nice it is to ride a bike and how all the troubles melt away when you're on the road. Totally different to driving a car. Anyway, enjoy the pics and pm me if ya interested, or want further info. Cheers.
