1992 Eunos Roadster 1.6 75,000miles

For sale i have my much loved Eunos Roadster.

The car currently has MOT until April 2010, Tax until October 09.

It has covered 120,000 km which equates to around 75,000 miles.

The car is in excellent mechanical condition and the body work is also in good condition. There are a few modifications to the look of the car, firstly with the Momo Course alloys that were fitted by the previous owner ( i have the receipt for £500) they are fitted with Yoko's and have a good amount of tread on them. The lights have been upgraded to Raybrig units so give much better light on the road.

The car has also had a new hood fitted by the previous owner with the upgrade of a glass window instead of the usual plastic which in time clouds up.

Inside the car it has a Momo Course steering wheel which suits the car nicely, there is also a momo gearknob which complements the Chrome "Roadster" Sill covers and "Roadster" Speaker surrounds in the door. I currently have a Sony cd player in the car which can be left in if the buyer wishes.

Under the bonnet there is an aftermarket panel filter, Front lower strut brace, Chromed rocker cover and also performance HT leads.

The modifications are subtle and in my opinion improve the look of the car.

If you have any questions please do not hesitate to ask.

Many thanks

Miles.

On pistonheads for £1850 but will offer it for £1750 ono.

Looking for a fairly quick sale.

Hmmmmm...looking at one of these as my next daily drive as they're sub 2k, fun, and reliable as you like as long as you maintain them. I was thinking about the 1.8iS, but I really like the look of this.

Trouble is, I promised myself I'd run my Prelude until it dies and it's not showing any signs of doing that at the moment - bloody Honda reliability!

Is there much diff in insurance prices between the UK and J-specs?

None or at least their shouldn't be, we've never had an issue with the 2 jap specs we had.

Owned a 1.6 and 1.8 MK1 and the only time you notice the difference with the 1.8 is on the motorway, on the twisties nothing to set the 2 apart

You might never end up with one if your waiting for the prelude to die though :p

Go on you know you want to :) Let me know if you would like to come and view her.

I know, that's the problem - I just can't justify it while the Prelude is still going strong, especially having bought the toy earlier in year which really did stretch me to my limit. And I'd get peanuts for the Prelude - it's worth so much more to me having been so UTTERLY reliable in the last 3 years.

If I have a mad moment (or if the missus allows/encourages me - just shown her and she said "that's nice" in a somewhat resigned tone of voice) I will be in touch if it's still around.

Some else, buy it quick before I give in - so much fun for so little money! ;)
