Trig
can i ask why this is your last one dave? you seem like a bit of a perfectionist and thats what i need!!
themodifiedkid
Because being a perfectionist like Dave doesn't pay the bills. I really don't think Dave makes much £ out of these sorts of jobs. I would have a guess that if Dave added all the hours he spends on these projects and compares that to the prices he charges he is probably working for a ridiculasly small wage. Therefore smaller jobs are more profitable, and are the bread and butter stuff
pistonbroke
Can we wait until he's finished before we start suggesting he charges more.
SUPRALOOPY
I would love to do more of this type of work but I'm not set up for it really. Also the stress levels are huge. Being a perfectionist sucks in this trade.
SUPRALOOPY
Can we wait until he's finished before we start suggesting he charges more. Don't panic Dan, you are getting a result here (although it may not feel like it.) If I charged by the hour you'd cry:)
hoff
The skirts really line in with the door much better than when you first had them Dave. Looking really good and comming together very nicely:)

hoff
I fibreglassed an old Bomex which i damaged. That alone took ages and was nowhere near as good a job as what you produce. It was actually very poor but after hours enough was enough:d
SUPRALOOPY
I'm still not happy but how far do you go?
SUPRALOOPY
Well I could not let the rear spat gaps go so I redid them to fit flush with the rear of the car. I also did not like how the side skirt sat inside the door shut so I did that too. Also managed to get it all in primer as well, so a hard but productive day:)
