Scott
Let's just hope the bu66ers don't kiss and make up. I've lost count the amount of times the brothers have fallen out. They are thugs, they remind me of that twat that won the lottery, the idiot with the tag.
Bobbeh
I guess Noel will have to take his 3 chords elsewhere
ivan
Apparently their Mum reckons they'll be back together soon.
kill1308
I think they've come out with a few decent tracks in their early days, mostly crap though and the good was definately outshone by the fact they were a bunch of a-holes. Noel was definately the better out of the two, but too much attitude for my liking. No great loss to the music industry

No more tours, tour support, downloads, album sales, ring tones, airplay, sheet music sales, merchandising - A loss indeed on a monumental scale for many in the business - but I take your point

RedM
boo hoo! the verve were always better! "I'm a million different people from one day to the next.." sang The Verve's Richard Ashcroft and yet, somehow, not one of them could write a decent tune. Ewen
They always seemed a bit manky to me. Although they did a stand up job with a particular piece of incidental music in Snatch, the rest of it never got any air time here. I bought an Oasis album for 50p at a car boot sale once, but only because it was in a box full of other tat. The brass letter box that accompanied it makes a much more satisfying noise. Rob
Normally, on an internet forum one would expect at least a few people to come back with stuff like "OMG!!! How could you say that? Oasis were so like the bestest band of evAh!!!" but here, not one single person has said anything more positive than that their first few albums were ok. Proof indeed that they were always a bunch of swaggering shitehawks.
Snooze
Not a fan of Oasis apart from the first album, but I really hope Andy Bell finds a decent gig. The man's a great guitarist - some of the early Ride stuff that he wrote are still some of my favourite tunes.
