effect of launch control on auto ecu

The system needs a signal from a clutch switch, which is lacking on the auto. Power breaking does the job.

 

That's full throttle gear shift that uses the clutch switch, launch control doesn't. Mine isn't wired into the clutch switch.

it's a bit of an oddball situation. the car was an auto, has had a manual transplant, it has a mines ecu that has auto stickers on it and it doesn't like launch control. otherwise the car drives really well. im not sure if the ecu still retains any auto functions or if mines have removed/disabled them, or even if it is an auto ecu at all.

Have you got the application to have a look at the cut table settings? There is a separate soft and hard rev limiter cut table (separate from the normal traction cut tables). Maybe your soft cut is cutting everything or something?
