AndrewOW
All this talk of food today, and I thought I would just add that I'm enjoying some fruit (dead fly) filled digestives in my afternoon coffee.
caseys
Mike, To increase your Oreo related pleasure http://www.snackspot.org.uk/thread.php?story=0909201023sbc White chocolate covered oreos. Spotted in Tesco (8 packets £3.49). Admittedly with their chocolate coating their absorbtion rate of lactose based liquids may be hindered. I have bought some and will try and report back ASAP. Alas I am lacking the milk right now.
jim
You can make your own double stuffs...gently hold the edges of each biscuit bit and twist in opposite directions, hopefully leaving one 'plain' biscuit bit and one with the filling still on, do the same with another, squeeze the two bits with filling on together and hey presto your very own home made double stuff oreo...magic! If I was still as unhealthy as I used to be I'd say I would quite happily buy/eat a jar of that filling they put in it if they sold it. Next time I go to the US I'll have to do some Oreo investigations and see what I can bring back. Oreo cakes (spongy ones) were really really really nice. Just put Orios and milk in a blender and you're sorted. It's like sex in a cup.....and not the 2 girls 1 cup kind of way either
Charlotte
I'm having a retro biscuit revival at work. It's all about the bourbons and custard creams. Oh and nice biscuits.
Thorin
I could quite easily eat a whole packet of custard creams, one of those big double packs you get too.
AndrewOW
I could quite easily eat a whole packet of custard creams, one of those big double packs you get too. Agreed. Especially pulling them apart, scraping out the middle with my teeth and dunking the rest! I can easily eat a whole packet of ginger nut biscuits in a sitting too. Are they bad for you? stevie_b
I can easily eat a whole packet of ginger nut biscuits in a sitting too. Are they bad for you? No. Ginger is excellent for your digestive system, and your body requires sugar to keep it going. Munch away.
