pistonbroke
A mate of mine just bought himself a convertible M3 and it has some sort of snazzy clifford alarm fitted. If he arms it with the roof down, it shuts the roof and the windows. He wants it to leave the roof open. Does anyone know how to disable this feature.? Miguel
The user guides on Clifford's site might be of some help if he knows the model: HERE From distant memory, you used to be able to assign different functions to button combinations using Cliffnet wizard ( I think that's what it was called) Mr Harwood would be the man to talk to about alarm wizardry. On recent M3's you can get the main dealer to set up all the fancy combinations on the stock alarm.
SUPRALOOPY
Ahh the M3 has the alarm got a matches and petrol button? Put the roof up it will burn better. LOL. As said above there will be a sequence to disable the feature.
TrickTT
If its based on smartwindows, turn the ignition quickly on and off, the alarm will chirp once and autoclose will be disabled next time you arm it.
