hadyn
Im having a few issues in the fact that I cant seem to secure a new hose to the metal heater connection pipe that is at the back of the head. Jubilee clips dont seem to be able to hold it correctly and water seems to be coming from out of the hose as its not on tightly enough. The hose is blocked with a bung to bypass the heater matrix. Can anyone recommend anything I could do to block off the metal pipe at the back of the head, other than welding, blowtorch etc? Im at my wits end with this one and could really do with some ideas at the moment Cheers!
pedrosixfour
Was this the same problem (leak) you had before you took the original heater pipe off? If it is I'd be investigating the actual pipe coming from the head for cracks where it meets the head. It may be the cause of the leak. I doubt using the correct size pipe and good jubilee clips would still allow water to escape if the outlet was in good nick.

pedrosixfour
I've just read in your other thread that you never got the original clip off and just pushed it down the pipe. BOLD, BOLD, BOLD!!! There is now the distinct possibility that the jubilee clip is sitting arseways on the pipe.
