Nur Spec Clearance and 4" Midpipe Alignment

Recommended Posts

I am in the process of fitting my 4" DP and MP and currently mating that up with my Nur Spec R.

It looks like I can tuck the 4" kit up quite neatly whilst still having sensible clearance to the underside of the car.

However, my Nur Spec seems to have pretty bad ground clearance and almost makes it look like I was unnecessarily concerned about ground clearance from the 4" parts. :D

The Nur spec piping seems to turn down from the flange that mates to the back of the second cat....purposely reducing the ground clearance. Is this normal? I'm wondering if this part of the exhaust could be upside down but then the hanger would be welded to the underside of the exhaust if that was the case.

Ive had plenty of Nur's that seem to hang low. Ive just made a 4" for mine on the car to get as much clearance as I can. Did you still need that bit of wiring loom dude, I forgot all about it.

Yes please mate :)

Clearance on the 4" parts is very good compared to the Nur Spec, mainly becuase it was mostly made "in situ". I'll try a different exhasut tonight to see how that looks.

Anyone else got a Nur Spec that doesn't sit like this?
