jevansio
cheers jevansio gonna do it at weekend No probs, one good thing was it's was quite a decent weight (esp when compared to the actual bonnet )

northstretch
Its purely for sound deadening. Soon as i buy a car its the first thing i remove.

I'm sure I read somewhere that in the event of an engine bay fire the plastic clips melt and it smothers the fire too.
tooquicktostop
It will be a bit louder but nothing else, I was amazed how much difference cutting the vents in the stock bonnet made to the noise level however for what its worth
