2 weeks away and the mice have played!!

Well, I've just got back from 2 weeks away and it seems pixies have been fiddling.

The drivers side door rubber has all fallen away, and won't stay in place.

There is a loud squeaking from the rear, think this may be the rear hatch, but not overly sure.

The steering has gone quite twitchy, but vague at the same time.

The brakes seem to be rubbing, every time on a different wheel.

Free's up after a while, but the handling doesn't improve.

The main warning light and ECU light now comes on at 60 and stays on.

It used to come on at around 70, and go off after a while, so I presumed an active aero fault, but I don't think the car has it!!

And finally, the O/Drive light flashes, pattern of 4, so think this is a speed sensor. Again it used to do this intermittently, and clear itself, but now it's all the bloody time.

Any suggestion as to what to do, bar chop it in for a skyline!!

The rear squeek is likely to be the boot rubbers, if they look worne its prob best to replace them - ebays a good bet.

If the car has been stood for a couple of weeks it will take a little while for the build up on the brakes to wear off.

Think your right the warning triangle is prob an active spoiler issue, does it come up and down, can you hear the motor? Do you have a manual override and can fix it down?

All these point to a faulty DSC. Test it by taking it off and going for a drive. Make sure you get the car warm and above 60mph during the test drive. If removing the DSC cures it, then it confirms the DSC was at fault. Then you'd just need to buy a new one (I recommend Thor if they still do them).

Oh yes, and get the error codes that the ECU has no doubt logged.
