Sandy-m2
Hi Guys I have my callipers off and waiting for new disks and pads to come, gave them a little paint and took the lines off awaiting for the braided lines to arrive. Only one problem. The nut on the rear hard-line is just starting to round when I am trying to remove it. any advice as to how to get them turning? Thanks in advance and here is a little pic of how my callipers came up.

mwilkinson
I had the same problem with my brake lines when I referb my old j-pec calipers a few years ago. Basically worst case is that you might need to replace a section of the brake pipe. The most difficult and annoying one is the rear left pipe. It goes from the rear wheel almost the whole way to the ABS actuator! This is the one I ended up having to replace. It cost me £37 including VAT from Mr T. The rest of the brake pipes have connector blocks closer to the wheel and I can't imagine them being more expensive as they are substantially shorter. Personally I would get a replacement pipe as appose to fudging a new connection.
