hoff
I fancy a new stereo and would like a double din unit. Ideally I would prefer an Alpine, JVC etc one but I can't really justify the extra couple of hunred quid or so. Therefore, I was wondering if you guys who know a little bit more than me on this sort of thing can tell me if this is worth getting or should I keep hold of my cash because it's actually a little poor... http://caraudiosecurity.com/shop/product/products_id/8890.html Thanks:)

erol_h
screen quality wont be the same as a top end unit Thats what i was gona say its best to go down to a audio shop and actually see them with your own eyes and judge for yourself instead of getting something you regret. T2 MSW
as above would not think screen quality would be any good. Also if you have decent speakers they would benefit from a MOSFET amp which it does not look like this unit has.
Matt H
Never understood Driver DVD players, but it looks pretty good for the price
Smallshinyant
I like it, i have been considering getting a double din unit and it is a good price, the resolution looks respectable but not as good as that picture makes it out to be. But i am just gonna maybe spend a few more bucks trying to get one that has sat nav in too.
Smallshinyant
You got me thinking about upgrading this month so a quick tour of google i have come up with this (its £290) http://easinetqualitybargains.com/navigation-player-bluetooth-inch-touchscreen-p-3167.html Its a little bit more pricey but run windows CE 5 and comes with GPS antenna. Does not come with the sat nav software but this can be got from lots of websites I am trying to confirm what size it is because the write up for it says its single din twice and double din once, and the pic looks double din. hoff
Thanks guys. I was thinking along the same lines as you TBH but if the screen isn't that bad it may be worth a think about. Though it's more the "will it brake" I think. A friend had a cheeper one which after a while the touch screen was hit and miss etc. Ant, I do like that one you posted. Ticks the right buttons but again I'm thinking about the overall quality/build.
