RedM
I have a bunch of FLV files that I'd like to convert to MPEG. Ideally the software should be able to then splice the clips into one long video. The catch is that I use Linux so recommendations for that would be ideal. If it has to be Windows then the software must be free as in open-source etc not download from a dodgy site. Anyone?

Tom
you didnt by any chance download the AVS one by mistake did you? finding the download link for Super isnt the easiest i'll admit with other download links everywhere the download link is on this page just incase you did get the wrong one? "download super setup file" http://www.erightsoft.com/S6Kg1.html Damn seems the above link only works once going through the main page which is a pita You need to find the first link on the page "start downloading super" then "download and use" on the 2nd page then "download super setup file" on the 3rd

Thorin
It's not often you speak sense. How dare you. Lots more command line options if you want to resize the video, downsample audio etc.... but I think that should just convert as-is.
