DSK
A chap at work has a 350Z, nice cars but not quite my cup of tea. The 370Z and GTR seem more on the ball imo. I will say, expect the TT to cost more to run than your 350Z.
themodifiedkid
A guy on here called Dan4 has just sold his supra and bought a 350z, might be worth giving him a pm, as he will no first hand what the pros and cons are of each car. Ow yeah nearly forgot Welcome aboard
Guest Deviner
Wow some quick responses. Supra Joe: Why? I'm not sure. I seem to keep a car for 1.5>2 years and then switch usually. Always liked Supra's and would've bought one as my previous car but had to settle for a Celica because of insurance reasons. Also wouldn't mind having an extra 2 seats, regardless of how useful the Supra's are.. DSK: I didn't expect the running costs to be worse actually! I'm paying 1500 euro per year on road tax and a Supra would be 1200 euro. I'm getting 21'ish mpg at the moment, is a Supra TT 6spd going to be worse in general? General maintenance for my Z has been pretty much nothing in the last 18 months.. themodifiedkid: I might just do that, thanks! michael: Yeah I took some pics of it a few weeks ago actually. http://img142.imageshack.us/img142/549/77177470.jpg http://img142.imageshack.us/img142/5965/76751040.jpg http://img142.imageshack.us/img142/751/73694284.jpg Edited August 21, 2009 by Deviner (see edit history)

Guest Deviner
Haha, yea I can imagine. It'd just be nice in emergencies or short trips to be legally able to bring a 3rd/4th person in the car with you! I've tried once, on a 2 min drive, to bring a third person in my Z and it was hilariously illegal and uncomfortable.

adnanshah247
my advise, sell the 350 and get a sup. then spend all your earnings on the sup! then tear past a ferrari with your middle finger up and enjoy!
pistonbroke
DATinter, the guy that used to own my car, sold his 350z for the supe. Providing you get a good one, I don't think they're particularly costly to run. In comparison to your 350z, the TT will be considerbly quicker. The only real sacrifice I'd say is the interior of the Supra is quite dated compared to your 350. Then there's the tuning potential. You have to pay BIG bucks to get the 350 to perform anywhere near a BPU supra.
