Durandal
I bought a 3" downpipe and I was wondering if the existing catback exhaust will give me problems if it is something like a 2.5" It is a custom catback and I don't know the size of it yet but will measure it. I would assume if the back half is 2.5" then it will just act as though the whole thing is 2.5" breathing wise. Would I be able to throw in a 2" restrictor ring and use it the downpipe for now until buying a matching 3" catback down the road? Thx
nero
If the flanges mate up you will be fine, the cat back will be a bit of a restriction but not a big deal on stock turbo's. You may have more issues if the flanges don't mate up if anything
