Missile
Does this look ok or pretty terrible? I've just finished bodging this together out of an old building alarm system. My ariel snapped off around a year ago. This was due to every time I turned the car/radio on, the ariel raised into a tree in my front garden and over time snapped off. (Easily avoided but each morning i'd forget) Anyway I never listen to the radio so figured it was time to tidy up the old sharp jagged left overs of my old Ariel. Think maybe I need to get the chrome bit painted black. Anyway, Whats the general opinion? Edited August 20, 2009 by Missile Adding and testing links. Cracked it...... JamieP
Certainly better than stock, i have a stubby on mine, not sure on what the bits are from though.
Missile
Thats fair enough. I'm still pretty undecided on it to be honest. Could use a little more messing about. But have to say it's a little better than the lump of metal i had sticking out before.

TopgunTT
You prefer stock to that stubby or any stubby? I'm afraid so, Must be the noise the aerial makes when it's going up and down
Kev_A
I can appreciate what you've done with it mate, if you've knocked that up from an old building aerial then well done to you, you've made a tidy job of it

Willson
I still think stock looks best when its down as its smaller than a fixed stubby, but unfortunately its crazy long when up.
