Barney
What is the easiest way to re-size pictures using Vista? When I had XP I downloaded the Windows Power Tools image re-sizer, it was nice and simple and worked great, can't seem to find the same thing for Vista. Scott
Right click on the image and then click on "edit". That will open up the picture in paint. You can then go to "image" then "resize/Skew", select pixles and choose the size you want. I normally go for 1024 wide. It automatically adjusts the height for you. Jamesy
i just open it, click edit, resize and half the width and height or set to 50%
Scott
i just open it, click edit, resize and half the width and height or set to 50% Depends on your camera settings. My camera takes pictures that are over 4000 pixles wide. Hitting 50% would still make them over 2000 pixles wide which is massive. Your camera perhaps takes 2000 pixle wide photo's so hitting 50% works fine. It won't work for most people though

Todd
http://www.rw-designer.com/picture-resize fantastic wee program and without opening a photo editing suite it's the easiest method I've come across for batch resizing
Branners
Jake found me a Vista resizer recently, I think it came from sourceforge. Do a search on here and it may turn up. It was a direct copy of the image resizer power tool but done by somebody else and not MS.
