lumpy idle after changing & gapping plugs-Help

Recommended Posts

I am about to go BPU and run up to 1.2 bar.

Im have just gapped my NGK spark plugs to 0.7mm as recommended on the forum.

The plugs I have fitted are BCPR7ES.

Since fitting them the car feels lumpy, its quite noticeable on tickover where it was silky smooth before.

My previously fitted spark plugs which I removed were BKR6EP and gapped about 0.9mm.

Is this typical to see lumpy idle on tickover after reducing the gaps or is it just the plugs are not as good as my previous sets.

Any suggestions as I dont like this rough idling.

Cheers ~Carl
