jacko
Somewhere near me there is a house with its alarm going off. It has been going off for the past 3 nights and occasionally during the day, so im guessing theyre on holiday. Does anybody know if there is anything that can be done about it? As it's starting to get on my tits!

jacko
Well i was thinking whilst the alarm is going off, it would be rude not to pop in and have the tv away....
tony tt
Fire a brick through the window so it has an excuse to go off! As said phone the cops and tell them you seen someone trying to get in. maybe knock the unit off the wall accidentaly on purpose!
jacko
Just rang the police, got to ring environmental health. I mean if you go away on holiday and set your alarm, at least make sure someone knows the code to turn the sodding thing off!
Class One
I was going to say don't bother with the Police just get onto environmental health. They can get a warrant to enter the premises if needs be and silence the alarm.
tony tt
What will enviromental health do?

stevie_b
What will enviromental health do? It's "noise pollution" (PC phrase I know), so probably more than most others authorities could do.
jacko
Well an hour after phoning environmental health, somebody turned up and switched it off (pure coincidence im sure)
