Paul372
Hi, i'm getting a clicking sound from the front brakes when applied and my brakes are also juddering which i think is down to warped discs. I think its the rear ones that might be warped because they are quite old and i haven't changed them since i've owned the supe and the discs on the front i only replace them about 6 months ago with 3g discs and endless pads. I've looked at the brakes and all the shims are still in place and the pistons and seals on all the brake calipers look ok and they move freely so there all ok and not seized or sticking, what else can i check for any ideas and where abouts are the abs sensors i might give them a clean up Pics

edge
Try and tighten up the lower wishbone bolt also as these come loose and cause a clonk/click when braking.
Paul372
Ha i think i might have found a problem, on the drivers side caliper the lower pin on the caliper with the arrow pointing to it on the picture is that surpose to move in and out if so the drivers side one don't, can you replace these

pedrosixfour
Yes mate, they are supposed to be free to move in and out to apply pressure to both pad when you apply the brakes. I am sure you can replace them but I'd just try to free it up first. Remove the rubber boot, clear any gunk you can out of the way, get some good penetrating spray and apply liberally to the rod. I'd advise you to remove your pads before you do this to avoid contaminating them. Leave the fluid to soak in for a while and then start wiggling! It might need some more direct persuasion, but don't damage the thread hole if you do resort to a few taps of a hammer. Should all go according to plan and it frees up use a small amount of copper grease on the rod to keep it free then make sure your brake disk if free of any oils or grease before you reassemble.
