jackso11
I would stick to 235 on the front, unless you only plan on going in a straight line and don't need to steer much. 235 fronts and 265 back is plenty. Remember the cost of tyres too, not really worth having a difficult to find expensive tyre just so that 3 times a year you get someone saying "wow, wide back tyres"
Jamesy
thanx guys - i agree with what you're saying. however i dont like this style of wheel in the 8.5" version as the spokes are too flat so i think it'll be a comprimise of 9.5" front and 10" rear with 245 and 275 tyres !! SupraStar 3000
I'm looking for Work Varianza T1S in red - but even getting a price is proving difficult.

Holden1989
they would be my joint first choice mate if they werent £2,650 for a set (quoted yesterday!!) Who quoted you that? You can get them from Nic a bit cheaper, not sure what price though as Jezz bought them for his car then sold it to my other half then sold us the wheels Be prepared to get slapped when paying the bill for rear tyres, luckily we dont have to replace them that often Have you got standard rear arches? My other half (the punisher) had to get major reconstruction to his TRD ones so they wouldnt rub, then get some stiff coilovers as they were cracking the arch
pistonbroke
The OP wants the stretched tyre look. Hence why I said he could get 255 on a 10" rim. On the pic I posted, that's a 275 on a 10" rim, it's not stretched enough for his taste.

Jamesy
yeah i reckon so. however my suspension is quite firm and there is a fair bit of room currently. maybe just the lip behind the rear arch
