Electronic or Mechanical Boost gauge??

Electronic is just a wire trailing through from the sender to the gauge. More expensive, but easier to install.

Mechanical is a tube that's T'd in your boost line from the turbo and trailed back to the gauge. Cheaper, harder to install as you can get kinks in the line.

As for accuracy - it depends on who makes them I suppose...

yeah that, electronic have built in circuitry to damp effectively and are in my experience much smoother and readable to use

I have a mechanical Glowshift boost gauge and it's awesome. Responds like lightning and absolute piece of p*** to install.

Honestly, if you would rather not spend the money on electrical, mechanical is a simple option also. Not difficult at all.

And you won't get kinks in the line if you fit it properly?!
