dangerous brain
Noice. A TD5 just came up on pistonheads in Cornwall. Where did you go to pick that one up? I've got a set of 19" range rover sport rims that would go nicely on that car
Fifty
hi m8 Went to Wolverhampton on the train, car is almost spotless but little up on miles 120K runs very nicely indeed I enjoyed the drive back. I am pleased with it. As you will no its an XS so not loaded with goodies but very very smart inside and out. Clean underneath too with full service history. Had to laugh cos lights are a bit misty just like Supras lol Needs a new suspension air bag on pax side(I know you need to do in pairs) I think as this drops a little overnight. I have joined the Landrover UK forum under the name of Tamandu!
ozz
We sold our 03 Disco today funnily enough, only had 88k on her. Missus doesn't need it as she bought a horse van instead. Nice cars, easy to get bogged down in the gears tho.
dangerous brain
Don't pay dealer crazy money for those bags chap. They are not all that expensive if you shop around on ebay or what have you (£80 ish each I think) and its no big job to change them either. FWIW I would sh*t can them though as in my experience and the experience of every one I know that runs those bags they are a pain in the posterior. Think about it 5 years old and the bags are gone already!! You can get coil spring replacements which should set you back about the same amount as a couple of bags fitted. I did all four on my range rover (there's only two on disco"s) http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/LAND-ROVER-DISCOVERY-2-AIR-TO-COIL-SPRING-CONVERSION_W0QQitemZ400035032078QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item5d23f22c0e&_trksid=p3286.c0.m14 If you intend on keeping the air ride then get it done asap as it will be flattening your battery overnight and wearing out the pump which is a £400 item. Fifty
Thanks for the heads up re air bags; Paddocks stock them for good price. This morning I see the rear did not drop overnight(was 1 side) so it may be OK I had already read about coil spring replacement thanks which seems good value and a smart thing to do. Been for a short drive this morning man these lanes are narrower than I remember in the Supe lol thax again for the useful tips!
