Are any of you lucky enough to be in these places? Have you been burgled? If you aren't in any of the above have you still been a victim or an attempted one? AndrewOW
BN3? Where the rich and the poor collide, probably. I blame the great unwashed myself.

Crossgates is definitely the latter, Roundhay a bit of both?

jevansio
Funny, I've lived in everyone of those areas, also bagged myself a lovely collection of flat screen TV's, miscelaneous jewelry & a couple of poodles

I don't really think that Shinewater is really that bad any more, as the 'new' park and recreation ground keeps the little buggers amused! Hermit
In the program they did focussing on Oxford, the hotspots were the student areas - young people sharing houses means lots of laptops, gadgets, consoles etc, which is all fairly anonymous and easy for your average smack-head to shift. The really rich areas got hit very little.

marbleapple
Crossgates is definitely the latter, Roundhay a bit of both? As above. My understanding of Roundhay is posh houses next to a Counsel Estate.
Havard
LOL..!! The two near me are no surprise. Worsley is 10 miles down the road and too near to Salford for it's liking. Ellesmere Port is also just down the road from the Scousers but I doubt that they'd pay money money to go through the Mersey Tunnel to commit burglary...... What is always true is that people do not shit on their own doorstep..... H.
