T04z is a pretty old turbo now tbh, still good but there is better performing turbos out there now, spool Will be dependant on what hot side you go with, smaller the hot side the faster it will spool but the less power it will make.

A good condition stock engine will take lots of boost, certainly as much as any road fuel will allow.

If your buying a T04Z kit it will come with a 1.00ar housing, with stock cams it will reach full boost approx 4000rpm. It comes in very hard all at once so produces impressive torque figures.

Its good for over 750hp but on a stock engine I would run around 1.5 - 1.6 bar boost which will give you around 600hp.

Have a look at Chingy's car which is running one, he has a dyno graph in his garage.

when you say 600 do you mean wheel or fly.i see graphs with hp figures but not sure if there at the fly or at the wheels.i have 400 at wheels so roughly 460/470bhp would that be correct

Thats fly wheel, at 1.4 bar on stock tubbies you could get near to 435hp at the fly with an aftermarket ecu but thats pushing the limit.

I have a HKS T04Z kit fitted on my Supe

Lee P gave a very accurate desciption on this turbo. It starts spooling just after 2000rpm and hits full boost at 4000rpm, and it sounds wicked too!!

My Supra is still a work in progress at present, so i'm yet to unleash it's full potential. But i personally love this turbo and i would recommend it :)
