Errr it's the master warning light, should illuminate in conjunction with one of the other indicator lights.

Do you have any others on ?

Haven't you just had some work done on your car ?

So i wonder how i get round this one ?

Craig.

See i told you there was probably another light on somewhere (although it's not always the case).

Remove the spoiler ECU.

Can't remember exactly where that one is off the top of my head, but i'm sure somebody who does will be along soon.

I think there are six wires in the connector. perhaps

connecting two of the terminals may fool the car in to thinking the spoiler bits are still connected.

Ive been thinking of over riding the auto

spoiler in some way. but not got around to it yet.

hope this helps but not an expert in any way:)

Somewhere on the net are the Greddy (i think) FMIC install instructions and this tells you exactly which wires to short in the active spoiler connector, to fool the ECU.

But if you are never going to use it you may as well remove the active spoiler ECU.

Look at http://www.trlperformance.com/supra

and click on the link to Active Spoiler.

Find the Circuit Diagrams and click on Manual Control.

You'll see the motor connector, bottom left. Just short pins 3 and 4 of A12 and it'll look like the spoiler is parked in the up position. Now just push in the auto down button (to turn it off) and hey presto, no flashing light.

A12 connector will be located close to the drivers side headlamp, just underneath if I remember.

Saves removing ECU's, which works as well. And the full Spoiler wiring diagram is also to be found on my pages.

Yes this will elliminate the active spoiler as a source for error and should distinguish the warning triangle.

BUT do NOT allow the actiuve spoiler ECU to attempt to deploy the spoiler! This will cause another error. So always keep the Auto Off button pressed in to disable the automatic activation of the spoiler.
