tbourner
Loki's a big boy, but there was a newfie at puppy romp who was the same size as him at 10 weeks when Loki was 13 weeks!!!

Chris Wilson
Nice pup, you'll either get used to the smell and dribble of a Newfie or one of you will be going Funnily enough the people who had one our Archie's litter brothers posted the other day with some pics of Golly at 10.5 months. He's not as big or bulky as Archie, but still a good size! They also found another litter (Komondors have seen 3 UK litters in 6 months after none for years) and have bought a bitch called Molly (Good golly Miss Molly?). I think they may try and breed, she's from a different imported lineage. Have you had a Newfie before?
cheekymonkey
Chris, we haven't had a newfie before. I am expecting a lot of work and even more slobber! We live near a lake so looking forward to taking him for a swim and see how he takes to the water. It will be a learning experience for us indeed The two white dogs in the picture are lovely! martin1982
He'll probably end up taking you for a swim lol. My friend had one, gentle giant of a thing, even if it did slobber all over my trousers!
Chris Wilson
Like Komondors they have a natural lanolin substance in their skin and coat, which makes them stink like a wet sheep Breeders tend to wash them and perfume them, if they think new owners won't like the idea. I'd not have a full coated Kom in the house, no way
Carl_S
Good show. Completely understand why you called him bear. I have called animals by other animals names too.
