JohnA
28psi rear, interesting...I'll try lower pressures then
Ian C
I have issues with the centre of the tyre wearing out faster than the edges, still does it at 28psi but not by much. 26psi may be overkill -Ian

JohnA
when I bought the car it had 25F 35R, what's the meaning of that? Does it handle any better like that, or was the owner just a plonker?
Alex
The owner was probably trying to induce oversteer rather than understeer...improve turn in grip...

hogmaw
I have issues with the centre of the tyre wearing out faster than the edges I have the opposite problem, edges wearing out first. Is it an alignment issue?
SteveR
I thought the centre of a tyre wearing faster than the edges meant they were at too high a pressure? Edges = too low?
Alex
If both edges wear out too fast then the pressure is too low. If one edge goes first it's camber (alignment related) If the centre goes first to due to high pressure...or in Ian's case silly centrifugal forces!!! JohnK
Just had my bridgestone SO3's replaced on the rear, I was running 34 psi as per toyota (stock size) and the center was wearing far faster than the edges. Ive now dropped to 32 psi but after reading Ian's post I may take them down some more.

The thrashing I gave it this weekend probably didn't help. I need new tyres and proper alignment
