Care to provide a link to the "first rule" that I have broken?

http://www.illuminatedmind.net/2008/09/19/dont-sellout-stay-real/

........

Fair enough, i'm not getting into a bidding war

I am looking for £100 plus shipping to anywhere in the UK for this double DIN headunit.

does that not mean the first person to give you £100 should get this then add postage?

Yeah what Dave says

Also i bought one very similar with the all singing all dancing extras on ebay for not much more than that brand new, admittedly was an unknown make but it did work as it should, had to trim the dash for a perfect fit but I have got rid of it now and put a pioneer in. :sly:

Wasn't this £100 including P&P when you first listed it here?

I think what Dave was saying is, you asked for a set mount and the 1st person to offer you that, should have been sold the item. Now it seems as though the price of £100 is to low, so you should adjust your 1st post stating you are accepting offers over £100, or however much you want.

Did Lynz get this?? If not thats a shit as she had the £100 and was willing to collect.

OK, here's the breakdown.

a) I am an honest seller and am not trying to take anyone for a ride - look at my feedback and ask anyone I've sold to - it's all gone well!

b) Lynz sent me a PM (which I still have) stating that someone gave her a double DIN for free after reading she was interested in one. I offered it to her for £100 collected (offer still open to anyone) but she politely declined after scoring a free one.

I haven't had any problems at all and don't believe I have conducted myself poorly in this sale.

Whilst I made an error - asking if anyone would pay more (I've seen it done on other threads), I would just like to sell this to whomever wants it.

Thanks

Martin

This is correct, after I had put that I wasn't interested in being in a bidding war I had a pm from another member who had one of these and said he had no use for it so we could have it for free.

Martin did pm me saying that I could have this one but I had already said I would have the other one, well who wouldn't.

Hope this sells soon for you Martin still a bargain for the price :)

Cheers Lynz. Hope you're enjoying yours :)

I feel this whole thread has somehow given me a bit of a bad rep, which is a bit unfair. When I listed it originally, I had PMs fired at me left right and centre with a variety of offers.

Anyway, £100 + postage method of your choice. I'll pop it on eBay next week but wanted to give you guys a heads up.
