Black Ash desk and monitor riser (free)

I'm going to chuck this out but before I do I just thought I'd check if it was of any use to someone.

I have a large black ash computer desk with a full length rear shelf that acts as a riser for a monitor or just as a shelf, it's not attached to the desk.

Actual pics might follow if I can be bothered but it's a bit like this:

attachment.php?attachmentid=96879&stc=1&d=1249915747

Basically black and desk shaped but with the extra bit on the back.

Probably has a few marks on it but might make a useful garage work bench, spare desk in an office, firewood or a BMX ramp for doing cool tricks. Might also make a useful surface to make pizza or models of small German vilages on.

I'll be taking it apart to get it out of the house so it will be available as a kit.

I'll give it a few days before I start smashing it into pieces that will fit in my car (it's quite sturdy though so I'd rather avoid this), suspect it would go in a Supra OK, they are the masters of the flat pack.

Collection from south Leeds area, close to M1 / M62 area.

That's a sweet computer desk you've got there. I should imagine it would also be useful for model builders of other eastern European villages too.

Thanks, it took a while to get the funding together to allow the purchase of such a unique piece but I think you'll agree the wait was worthwhile. Could look nice on your front lawn with some moss growing on it?

You raise a valid point about the location of the villages, I should also point out that it may also be suitable for models of small towns depending on the scale chosen, maybe even a city if you are a skilled builder.

The desk doesn't conduct electricity and would not make a very good lampshade.
