Not played them with the steering wheel but I can really see Forza coming into its own with one.

If I was buying a wheel/pedal kit I would definitely go for Logitech. Their kit is regarded as the best by many many hardcore gamers. You pay the dosh for it though.

Dont let cross platform games come into your decision, the gameplay is exactly the same. I have played NFS Shift on both the PS3 and the Xbox.... compared to Forza the cars handle like shopping carts but they are both the same.

From reading that the xbox seems like the obvious choice, but when it comes to driving games the PS3 often comes up trumps with the GT titles.

thanks Scott

I played Forza with a MS wheel and it was absolutely fantastic. Realistic, engaging and IMO well worth the investment.

Having said that, I own a PS3 and have GT5p - wondering whether with a wheel (say a logitech GT or Gt25) the experience is similar if not better.

I'm not a gamer anymore, bought the PS3 for COD and GT5p - however the novelty wore off once I completed COD - and GT5p is fairly uninspiring with a joypad.
