Pretty bad whiplash thou ive had worse from head banging at some gigs, and a previous accident similar to this.

We were traveling about 75 on the outside lane then some numpty decided to pull out of a junction van had to swerve over to the outside lane while slamming on the brakes, car infront slams on the brakes to avoid the van, i slam on mine to avoid the car infront and Mr i have a 4x4 towing a huge storage thing slams his on but due to having the extra weight and being too close goes straight into me!

Suppose now though with the payout for my car plus compensation, it should contribute nicely to a new TT to add to my collection.

Someone was towing in the outside lane?

A few people have said that...apparently if your towing your not even allowed to hit over 65? But sadly theres no way of prooving the speed and wasnt put down in the police report.

Was depressing watching everyone drive off and theres me just left there to wait for the pick up to drive my car away.

You can get whiplash at under 10mph rear ended, so many people think they're just pulling a fast one but it's very easy to damage your neck when being done up the backside.

That's why I was asking, its almost synonymous with chav culture. They're bringing us all down to their level.

A secretary here had whiplash from quite a low speed shunt, and she was in a lot of pain for weeks.

I always ensure my headrests are fully up and as far forward as possible, but there's no option for this in the supra.

I was shunted from behind in Japan last summer. I was a passenger - my friend's car was written off.

He got money for a new car and we both got money for treatment (massages etc) in Japan. He's Japanese and also helped negotiate a sum of money for me as compensation.

I wish I would have waited to now to cash it in with the Yen so weak! That money is now mostly in the form of my Japanese Supra :)
