Scott
Ok i'm not quite informed in this situation but i thought all he did was rob a train? He got 30 years for robbing a train? Adding that up it can't be right but thats all i ever hear he was convicted of. If thats the case he should have been out years ago. Murderers are walking the streets after 12 years, in some cases. Chris Wilson
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Great_Train_Robbery_(1963) So many unmarked 10 shilling notes were taken that they took them out of the UK currency soon afterwards. Those paid off in ten bob notes were unsure whether they were safe to spend or not, as some had recorded serial numbers, some hadn't
R Black
He did the crime and then spent years in the sun, yes he was looking over his shoulder, well he brought that on himself, he got old & ill came back to be treated, im sure he is a likeable guy, and is not like todays scum, however he is a criminal, unlike say Tony Martin IMO. However criminals seem to be getting let out of jail early all over the shop nowadays, and getting next to no time at HM champneys service. The difference being Biggs's crime was deemed against the state, which matters, whereas if its were against Joe bloggs, said state does'nt seem too interested. The guy gets 30 years for robbing a train because it was a crime against the state. If you kill someone you get a maximum of 25 years. Something VERY wrong there. If someone stole from me it wouldn't bother me in the slightest compared with if they killed someone i loved.
