hodge Posted August 7, 2009 Share Posted August 7, 2009 is there any visual way of checking to see if a chassis is twisted. Ive found an n/a aerotop as a base for my new project. Its got panel damage on the front drivers wing and front panel by the looks of the pictures but i can get the car for a steel. ManwithSupra Posted August 7, 2009 Share Posted August 7, 2009 Get someone to take it for a drive, follow behind it and see if its crabbing.... that will tell you if the chassis is foobard. Other than that you will need to get it on a Chassis Jig and they will tell you.... probably cost £200 to tell you if it is or not. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

A decent corner weight test, if it's on stock type suspension might tell you a lot about a longitudinal torsional twist though, for a LOT less money.
