wkdtime
http://www.thisislocallondon.co.uk/whereilive/localheadlines/3660190.Eden_Street_no_entry_sign_to_be_removed_after_driver_s_victory/ It wasn't too long ago, forgot all about it until I came accross some old emails. Quick summary Police man stops me for going through 'No Entry' (Which is a bus lane and taxi lane), Policeman Say's I have been naughty and issues me with fixed penalty notice, he then fails to give me the ticket and I'm on my way home. Later on he pops over to my house to hand deliver the notice. I think WTF and decide to contest. I fight it in court and WIN, also in the process have the No Entry sign taken down. Me 1 Policeman 0. supra_aero
Joker. Congrats. Under what terms did you win in the end? I recently got out of a parking ticket which was never stuck on my windscreen window ! I genuinely never knew about the ticket and received an inflated fine through the post but argued my case to the man at the top of the council and they made out they lost the paper work. Yeh right.. Lbm
So you drove through a bus and taxi lane as well as no entry and won? I'm amazed. Will you continue to use bus and taxi lanes and disregard the signs?

I proved that the No Entry Sign was unlawful. To think I was going to pay upto £1k for a lawyer
supra_aero
I proved that the No Entry Sign was unlawful. To think I was going to pay upto £1k for a lawyer Ah not bad. I argued not affixing a penalty notice to the windscreen is also unlawful unless it was issued by a police officer Which apparently it is. Hence why they now take photos of the ticket on your windscreen to prove it was there. These photos in question managed to 'disappear'. wkdtime
So you drove through a bus and taxi lane as well as no entry and won? I'm amazed. Did you read the article? It was signed as a No Entry/Bus Lane/ Taxi lane, I was in Kinsgton, Sunday morning driving back from Woking, I got lost in the one way system and found may way into this bus lane. Did i deserve an £80 fine...Yes Did i deserve 3 points for driving in what is effectively a bus lane...I think not! Will you continue to use bus and taxi lanes and disregard the signs? Again read the above post
