Ewen
Obscure, but you never know.... I'm after a small leather case, or a wooden box with hinged lid. Antique and good condition preferably. Lining not important. If leather, ideally with working clasp, even better with straps and handle. If wood, ideally high end wood such as mahogany or walnut or similar. Internal dimensions... Width...has to be wider than 12 inches, hopefully no more than 24 inches. Height...minimum 3 inches, maximum 6 inches. Depth (front to back)...minimum 8 inches, maximum 12 inches. Thanks. I assume you've tried all the antique shops in Boscombe? I have a lovely wooden case with velvet lining like you want, but I'm using it to keep all my poker chips in I'm afraid
Matt H
Surely something in your one off 'interior design', arts and crafts / gardens centres?
Ewen
I assume you've tried all the antique shops in Boscombe? Not for a few months, no. Will get up there at the weekend. Saw exactly what I was after in William Evans in London last weekend, that had come from an auction...put back on sale for £600. 1910 vintage leather cartridge case. Ark
I'm after something antique Matt. Just get a new one, spray it with cuprinol for that aged look, kick it around the garage to add wear marks...nobody would know the difference
Animal
Seems like a lot of effort to go to just to bury a cat.
Ewen
Sorry, its not for drugs or cats, its for gun cleaning accessories. I've started a collection of old shotgun cleaning kit and I'm after a nice case / box to house it all in. The boxed kits you can buy are either too naff or too expensive.
