supraGZaerotop
my antie has an old aussie v8. shes had it for 32years now every one of them garaged. thinking of buying it off her,(fancy something different). car is in very nice condition. just want to ask who has had experience with old v8s, are they any good. the car in question is a 1971 chrysler valiant vf (its a big 16.5 ft long 4 door australian sedan with a vinyl roof, looks like a sort of caddie), 318 small block named the fireball. has around 250hp and 340 torques. column shift auto. believed to be 1 of 2 in the country. if im correct its part of the mopar group for performance parts, loads of stuff you can do to these v8 i believe some pics- tell me what you guys/gals thinks on this. Pete
Are they any good? Depends on what you're looking for I'd say. Big old boat of a car with a thirsty fairly low bhp V8.....but masses of potential I'd have thought. Would make a great low rider if you fancied destroying a classic. Only thing wrong with that Gav, is that it's roughly £17,900 over my current budget Still now that I have seen these sort of cars can be had for that sort of money, I will be keeping an eye out.
